At Warren Wood Primary Academy, we aim to provide a stable, nurturing environment in which children are happy, stimulated and keen to learn and develop to their full potential. We presently provide for just over 300 pupils and have the capacity to grow to accommodate 400 pupils. The school has a specially resourced Language Unit called the Evergreen Centre for pupils with speech and language difficulties.

VACANCY

Teaching Assistant
Part Time - 1 year temporary contract covering Maternity Leave
Start Date: November/December 2017
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only
Salary Scale: D2 point 12 – 21 £10,708 - £13,375

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and caring teaching assistant to work in the classroom under the direction of the teacher to assist/support learning with students. The successful candidate requires the following qualities:-

• Relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification , or equivalent
• Experience of working in a school environment.
• Good communication skills.
• An effective team player
• A flexible, hardworking, patient and caring individual
• Self-motivation
